In December 2004 Park Resorts was marketed to Capital for ₤ 165 million, and its activities were merged with the GB Holiday Parks service (itself bought by ABN AMRO for ₤ 105 million simply one month previously) to develop the second-largest campers park driver in the UK. The name 'Park Resorts' was retained as the firm name and also brand title. Park Resorts was a vacation park operator with 48 vacation parks situated across the static caravan isle of wight United Kingdom.
